Looking around on the Holes Hobbies site, and saw that they have a Castle creations sidewinder micro esc that can be used for crawler in the 2.2 class. anyone know about these? How well do they work?

so the brake can handle holding a single motor 6lb crawler with no problems? how have people liked the castle link and the profiles and such?

i would think you would need a 1/10th esc for a sinlge motor but 2 of these can be used in dual motor setups.

i'll look in to it more. stranger things, have happened.

We have a guy that runs dual Sidewinder Micros in his Berg and they work quite well. With the new Castle software, you can turn the drag brake up past 200%....

sure they may work for others but how well ? and is it pushing the limit and or voiding the warranty ?

I love Castle's and the AWESOME AWESOME updates !
The easy PC link programing is Mint ! plus they offer a field program card.
I own a Mamba Monster and Mamba Max
and now Two Holmes Torque Masters.

I would look into what size motor those Micros can handle and amperage.

I got Castle on the phone. one of their techs told me that, putting a micro esc with a 540 motor. He says that he's seen it done, but dosn't suggest it, for warranty to stay valid
