Castle sidewinder 3 waterproof?

Hi, I have a sidewinder 3 . The manual says it is waterproof. My question is this can be submerge in water
? Any experience with this esc ? Thanks

so yeah.

but realize your other e components may not be on par

another thing to consider...

warranty period.

Because IMO waterproofing can sometimes fail.

drive it under water while it's still under warranty
then if it fails ya get another.

If it don't fail... yer good to go
 
Sidewinder 3 manual said:
Sidewinder 3 is not intended for operation while submerged in liquid. If unit is operated in wet conditions, rinse with fresh water to remove dirt or corrosives, then fully dry unit.

Page 2, bottom right, last paragraph. Some have run them submerged without a problem, but other haven't been as lucky. You take your chances when you ignore the manufactures suggestions.
