charging elite 1500's with a reedy quasar pro ?

hi guys, iam having a problem. i cant get my 1500 elites to take more then 500-900 mah at a time on my reedy quasar pro. i have it set at 2 amp charge, 6 amp discharge, 6 mv per cell or 36 mv per pack peak cut off at 1500 mah setting.

should my setting be different ? rite now iam testing a charge at 2 amp charge rate and 6 amp discharge,7mv cut off at 1750 mah setting. ill let ya know what i come up with but if anyone has any insight to this lmk please.

Decrease the peak sensitivity from 6mv to 8 or 10mv. If they are new, charge them at .1 or .2 amps

You dont want to exceed 2mv...

Am i backwards on the sensitivity? I had chargers where it kept false peaking 2/3a cells until I turned it past 8mv.

Well you don't wanna exceed 2mv per cell. And I believe that when you set that.. it already multiplys it in the charger on most chargers. But I huse Hyperions so I haven't had to use that setting in ages

ok, that makes sense to me then. I use the hyperion chargers too, so I don't mess with it anymore either. I was thinking for the pack as a whole, not per cell.

Sorry to but in but I have had a few 2/3a cells go bad on me, Where they would not take more than 1200a when fully discharged, has any one else had these cells go bad ?

Just got done charging a new 6 cell saddle pack from JRH, elite 1500's, .7 amp charge, took a bit over 1700 mah on my pulsar 2.
