Chassis kit to Defender conversion

Hi there

Does anyone have the list of parts / part numbers to convert the TRX4 chassis kit to the full spec defender.

I have picked up the kit to build with my boy and we want to get a clear defender body to paint, but I am aware there are a load of other parts required. Some are obvious like the exocage, roof rack etc, but what about the less obvious like link arms, shock mounts, body mounts etc.

If anyone else has done this conversion I would love to hear what parts they needed or what could be modified / adapted.

Thats a huge parts list to pull together, below is the parts list that encompasses every part for all the TRX's plus a couple exploded views that will list all the fasteners and parts needed for the Defender body assembly.

As far as the chassis side of the conversion, thats all in a kit and is only $22

To be honest you'd be better off to buy a take off body from eBay thats all complete and then buy a clear body and transfer everything over....cheaper than piecing it all to gether.

A take off body from eBay could be the way to go but unless one comes up for sale in the UK the shipping and customs charges make it too expensive so it looks like I am stuck with ordering all the necessary parts.
