I have a Wertymade winch plate, I was thinking of modding it to allow the steering servo to mount in it long ways, and still allow the winch rope to pass the steering servo, I can't find a chassis mounted steering servo option elsewhere for the Bomber. I guess because it's not a good idea?

As it is now the Winch mounts at the rear of the plate, and there is space between it and the front fairlead/hawse to get a servo in there, but the existing holes my interfere and make this not possible on this exact piece of metal.
Also would be more ideal if the winch mount was another 1-2cm farther back.

Anyway it's just an idea, not sure how chassis mounted servos function with a 4 link non panhard bar setup.

You can get 4 link CMS to work, just not without bump steer. Panhard bars reduce bump steer by forcing the axle to rotate around a similar point to the steering link.
