****Chit Chat Thread****

if your gonna try to revive it...bring it to dbs...and ill bring my old pack...we can use the multi meter and mark the bad cells...and mix and match to make 1 more good one

Jeepfreek: I'll get you some measurements of what I can. Its all assembled now though and very smooth. I do have another few ideas in my cranium on the dig size. Though none would be cheap like everyone will want. Cheap and easy is all anyone wants now-a-days.

I'll be posting pics soon, no secrets. Should I post the backside only since thats what Saul will be seeing on the 27th? I won't have my new wheels...thats gonna be a bummer. Might have some new tires though.

Planning to build the links tonight...out of CF tube. I'd prefer to have high clearance before the comp, but i'll roll what I can get done in time.

ouch...looks like somebody is tossin the smack talk back at me

lol

man i wish i could afford a vf dig...
but as is i cant even run super class till i get back to work

scraping every thing i can together just to get the scaler to run this comp

Well I think I have Emery at Stage 3 convinced about how to build a dig system and it will be simple, effective and still have all the goodies! It should be smaller in foot print so you wont lose any driveshaft length which that VF does, ALOT! Going to bring the new chassis out tommorrow and got the battery fixed so should be out for a while. Going to call Tim to see if he can bring his equipment to cut my comm and brushes there, MAN, I got alot to do before the comp!

PS. Nick says thanks for the shout out!

So should I be using 8 cells for the comp?

I forgot to buy a few more to be ready...

Links are set up...I'm liking it so far. Just need to sleeve them with the CF...or I guess buy the Delrin and do it the way I want.

I cut both drive shafts down to get things the way I wanted...60/40.

Now to go build some Revo shocks...man I love Revo shocks.

Jake, I would go with Delrin, its a lot slicker then graphite. My new build I'm putting all Delrin links on. And to your comment about Revo shocks I agree, any traxxas shock is awesome (high end Aluminum ones). Are you using a Blackjack chassis?

Gary's using 8 cells!

Black Jack with a custom skid plate yup...Dual Triangulation of course like the FatDog Tuber kind of.

Ok time to order some delrin and that stuff...

Nope FatDog is gone...it was too much mental torture with it. Way too much stuff I could do with it...not enough time.

The Black Jack is pretty nice...though I'm digging that VF Slingshot alot (especially $95 with all links...so tempting!)
