I’m located in Mt. Orab I have been wanting to find a place to go not sure where around this area to go.

I’m also looking for RC enthusiasts (crawling/bashing/etc) in Cincy. So far I have only gotten my brother into micro crawlers, none of my friends have really bitten on the RC hook yet

Hamilton Hobbies has comp events every other Sunday at their store. They post dates and times on Facebook. An amazing place to crawl is Oakes Quarry in Fairborn, it's well worth the drive. You can also check out 513 RC on Facebook, it has info on other places to crawl and people to meet up with. See you there!

I just started getting back into rc. I recently acquired a TRX4 defender. I myself am looking for people and new friends to get with and crawl and bash when not crawling and have the time. I'm about 5-10 minutes from east fork on the 32 side

Hey, a fellow east sider! I'm getting back into the hobby as well. I'm running an Element Builders Kit and live in Oakley. Does East Fork Park have any good crawling?

Try French Park in/near Amberley Village and Silverton. Awesome terrain in the creek. Just getting back into crawling, too. I'm in Norwood. Bought a rig I barely understand and I haven't been able to drive yet but that is my first major destination. I have some major things to resolve before I go there.

Hay man sbradingv and myself are trying to find time to get together if your close then hell man hit us up. I am having issues with my rig at the moment but hope to at least jimmy rig it to work for the time being.

That sounds good to me! Same for me: issues. When I get my rig sorted, hopefully soon, I'll reach out!

I'm still in 'shakedown' mode, but I got it running much sooner than I expected. I'll be at French Park several times this weekend sorting more of it out. Let me know if you'd like to meet up. I am nearby and flexible.

Unexpected result at French Park last night... I went there often with a 1/18 crawler years ago and it was challenging. I went there last night with a 1/10 crawler and it happily bumbled through everything without a sweat.

I suppose that matters. What scale do you all have?

I am going to visit the mountain bike spots around town with crawling in mind. I've ridden several of them (without crawling in mind) and have a strong feeling there is some really cool stuff in our area. If I'm onto something, "CORA" has all of the local biking spots with maps. They close places to bike traffic after wet weather despite being mostly dry on the surface, which might open it up to crawler traffic? Milford is not good for crawling so rule that one out but fun on a bike. Devou Park and Mt. Airy look promising. I'll check them out and report back. My memory is fuzzy but there might be ancient brick ruins to crawl at Mt. Airy.

Went to the Mt. Airy mtn bike trails this morning. I gassed out before I could ride my bike to the top to check out the ancient bricks and instead explored downward.

Rugged and rocky 1/10 terrain exists in two areas that take some work to get to (one close to each parking area). Not suggesting it is worth a trip there to crawl and stuff, but that's what I encountered.

If everything else I find sucks, these spots at the Mt. Airy mtn bike trails are just fine if you are willing to free climb some questionable slopes and terrain... like your rig does, scaled up for you. Small amounts of blood were drawn today from arms and legs by thorns and whatnot getting to these places.

Note to self, this site only does landscape photo orientation. Sorry.

Went to Trammel Fossil Park in Sharonville. The highest ledge is fun. Not much else there.

Headed to Bender Mountain Nature Preserve just East of Sayler Park next. I can't wait to see this "mountain".

Bender Mountain Nature Preserve was pretty good. Boulders in the creek near the parking area range in size from cantaloupe to bigger than a suitcase. The creek was mostly dry and there was 1/4+ mile of terrain.

If you traverse upstream to Rapid Run Creek Observation Area, there is a spillway across the road and above that looks pretty gnarly. Rain was coming and I was on a motorcycle so I had to leave before I could get too deep into it.
