here is a draw up of an idea i had. all to scale. 2.2 tires. Wat do yea think?

is it going to be a cj6?
what are you going to make the body out of, metal or plastic?
might want to put some tech in here before a mod puts it in chit chat,
what axles, trans, ect......

yes it is. and it is going to be metal panels and it is going to have Axial axles, trans and 2.2 axial wheels and tires. probable the novak goat crawler system but not sure yet.

sounds great, i don't care for 2.2 on scalers thou, but just personal opinion. i sure will keep an eye on this as i have been wanting to do a cj5 scaler of my 1:1. have you started the body yet, any pix?

when we go to home depot, get twice the building supplys, i already have the chassis all scale to the degree and the length of everything,

there is drawing all over the frame of big yellow!

took me forever! (didnt know how to use a protractor?)

I think typing that way makes you sound un-intelligent and it looks like it's been stretched 3 feet. Definitly NOT to scale. A CJ7 has 93-94" wheelbase, not a 130" one. Do some more research on your measurments.

How did you figure out the WB?

did some fixing on the drawing and made the cage alittle taller to look more scale. and added a inner cirle in the tires for the 1.9 size tire. dont know wat tire i feel like going for. probably 1.9. looks alittle better and people say thats wat i should do. any other suggestions?

How did you figure out the WB?

find a vehicle you are trying to copy measure the WB and divide by the scale you are trying to replicate said vehicle in. If you can't figure that out go kick your math teacher in the sack.

Is this person going to make the body out of styrene or buy a built body?
