Alright, I've been searghing and searching. I can't find a deffinate answer to wether these will fit without modification:

CKRC Aluminum knuckles Redcat Rockslide [askck] - $24.99 : CKRC Crawlers, RC Rock Crawlers

I found a few threads on knuckles, but couln't find a clear answer on these. Will these bolt right on without having to bend links and such? I also have a set of high clearance steering rods on the way from CPE and am not crazy about trying to shorten them... I'm planning on getting the ZNO HD servo mounts and flipping my new aluminum steering horns so I can do the high steer mod as well.

I read somewhere that using the shorter Traxxas rod ends on the drag link and steering rod will make up for the difference in the knuckles, but I don't know if that was for all AX10 knuckles or just the brand that poster was using.

These CKRC knuckles also look like they'll clear the stock wheels. Does anyone know if this is the case?

Sorry if this has been covered. I've learned a LOT from searching these threads. Just can't find the answer to this one...

Thanks for any help!

I believe these fit on the truck, and in the wheels just fine. and yes, you just adjust the length of the steering rods by using longer/shorter rod ends. I just cut mine with an exacto if need be, or add spacers.

Cool, Thank you. I'm going to order them now. When I get them on the truck, I'll put up a thread with a well worded title so others can find the answer easily "thumbsup"

This project has REALLY snowballed. I haven't even recieved the truck yet and am WAY over budget...

Be carefull if you are going to run the stock rs10 beadlock wheels, those knuckles on the inside will be very close to rubbing the beadlock ring, Iam using those knuckles but have since switched over to the proline 8 shooter beadlocks, with the stock beadlock wheels i actually had a small rock get wedged between ring an knuckle its that close to rubbing, just a thought to watch for."thumbsup"

Hey thanks. These wheels?

hey i actually got mune from trevor's toy box-a e-bay store- a complete set of 4 shipped $15.55 on the door step"thumbsup"

I'm going to check that out. How's the back spacing? If they locate the wheel in the same position, or further away from center, I'm going to get some. I just got rovers. I know they're taller already before putting them on a narrower wheel...

Thank you.

they set away from the hub futher but overall track width just a bit narrower i got rovers on mine to no vent holes either and they work great

Cool. Thanks for that. Just ordered a complete set for 17.90 shipped! Thanks for the name of the eBay store. The cheapest ones I could find before that were $30 shipped.

I love this site!

after i posted this i actually got to comparing it to the stock wheels on my sons truggy and the back spacing is about the the same but like i said the track width is narrower...about 3/4"... from outside beadlock to outside beadlock......the stock wheels ruffly measure 9.75", and with the 8 shooters it's about 9.0"

I was just worried about rubbing on links and such. Looks like it'll be good though.

I went ahead and ordered the knuckles and servo mounts today. ZNO says there HD servo mounts locate the servo a 1/2" higher than stock, so that should be good with CKRC's high clearance knuckles too.

Some of my parts arrived today. Now I just need the truck...

On a side note, my Boy's 1/8 Rockslide arrived today. That thing is GREAT for him. We had a blast. We ran two 3000 MaH's through it, and then two 5000's. We were outside all afternoon!

well i dont know if i explained it rite or not but...they may not be any further away from links when turned full lock, but they're deffinitely not any closer "thumbsup"

Nope, you explained it just fine. You talked me right into buying the wheels. Oh, and by the way, my Fiancé is very upset with you...
