clear film on polycarbonate /lexan

im on the hunt for polycarbonate with a clear vacuum formable film. just like a hpi car body. any ideas? i called hpi they wont even tell me what the name of the polycarbonate /lexan is. its just for a small project im working on. but i need to see, when im painting it like on a car body.
