My wheelbase is almost 16 inches, I'm sure if I adjusted it I could 16.5-17. I have to get some wheel wideners cause my tires are rubbing against the shocks.
WOW the G1 is awesome! I'm currently finishing my build of a Gmade Dragoon Conversion. I think i'm going to sell if off when i'm done and put the funds towards buying the actual Gmade G1 Rock Crawler
Glad you guys like it! I got some Imex tires for Christmas and I got my body mounted so I'll post a few more pics. I don't intended to enter any comps with it this just some rock crawling/off-roading/back yard bashing for fun. Just found some 9-tooth pinions from my old txt-1 project, what a difference! Gmade makes some nice stuff, I had a clod before this with a esp clodzilla IV chassis and that was crap.
Haven't done any real crawling yet cause of the snow, but it has no problem clearing curbs or my porch! It's a bit top heavy but I didn't build it for competition so it's fine with me. I just debating on what color to paint the body, I was thinking just flat black. Next mod I think is a Hand Brothers BTA steering kit.
I just bought one of these kits and its nice to see what I have to look forward to, thanks for posting. Where did you get that tow hook from? Looks good!
