This is my first real build with an rc so everyone knows haha. I had a set of wraith axles I won on ebay sitting around waiting for me to get inspiration and i finally did. I used to own an 85 gmc that was supposed to become a 3/4 ton 4x4 but never made it. So this is me living my dream in the world of rc.

So here is the components of my truck to date:
Wraith axles ( torn down rebuilt with new fast eddy bearings)
Exceed max stone 1/10 wheels
2.2 rc4wd tsl supper swampers xl
Rc4wd transfer case
Cheap Chinese planetary tranny
k2-3l chassis
axial scx10 shocks for now
axial controller and receiver
cheap chinese esc
Nimh battery from an exceed maxstone

Im trying to figure out a good way to hinge or connect the hood with magnets so that it can hinge or be removed. if anyone has anythoughts please let me know.

So a little update, the truck is close to being ready to take outside and play with. I dug out a parma hemi i had laying around to add some stuff to the bed of the truck. I figured why not have a bed loaded down with engine parts? I also hid my battery inside of a spare tire in the bed and am going to use the heads of the parma engine to cover the top of the tire so the battery is out of sight. The only thing i have left to do is figure out how i am going to mount my hood since all of my electronics are mounted in the engine bay!

Nice! I say put that hemi under the hood! That's the only way a Chevy will ever be quick! MOPAR OR NO CAR.

I would but one its against my religion to drive anything that does have a chevy engine and two i have the planetary tranny up front and would have to chop the engine to sit around it, the planetary how is at a little bit of a steep angle so i dont think there would be enough clearance to fit under my hood once its mounted
