CO Red Rocks Saturday

Mail for me in the AM till after 3 or so, I would like to get out and dial on the 2.2 and see what kind of ridiculous climbs I can do with my super!

Ok NooB question. Where do you crawl at RR? I know theres a ton of rocks but where does everyone usually go?

The west side of the Elementry School.
We ususaly park in at the first entrance to red rocks after the school entrance. I'm not sure exactly what RR entrance it is though. Or you can park in the little dirt turn-off thingy inbetween the school entrance and the RR entrance. That's were we start hiking from anyway. Just follow the path up to the rocks on the SW side of the school.

I hope I didn't just confuse you even more.
There is a map and better directions in one of the CO comp threads I think.

PS. don't park in the school parking lot, they WILL lock you in there! Yes, I'm speaking from experience.

Come on guys!!!!
I know there is more of you out there that want to go crawl.
We need to get in good practice for nats, so we'll probably have some balls out and make some courses to practice on.

Cool thanks, not sure where the elementry is. Street name or abouts?

I might try to make it, IF I can get my TLT back together in time...

No idea what the actual name is.
I'll try and explane it though.
As you get off c470 at the morrison exit, head into morrison. The first stoplight is in the middle of town, the second stop light is at the end of downtown morrison, turn "right" here for the elementary. About a 100 yards farther down the road is the dirt turn off (on the right) that we hike from and about 50 feet past that is the RR entrance (on the right) that you can park at if the dirt turnoff is full of cars already.

Does that make sense?

I'll be there, just don't think it'll be 9. Gonna go bug the turtle at work afterwards if I can figure out where that hobbytown is. Need a new body for the nats, I'm thinkin that 4 wheeler body would work awesome "thumbsup"
