Co2 guns

i know alot of you are into firearms and even remember an air soft thread. how many are into co2 pellet or bb guns ? i just picked up a powerline 008 pistol. love the feel of it. velocity is rated at 485 fps. im looking for a laser sight or red dot sight as the sights on the pistol are fixed and are black.with the sights being black it makes it hard to shoot at night. i take it fishing and when the fish arent biting iam target shooting.

Sorry, all I have are real guns, I have a Crimson Trace Laser Grip sight on one of my Kimber 45's. Something like that might work on it. It works pretty well in low light and in the dark.

This is one of the Co2 pistols I have.(Open sights at the moment) I also have a crossman semi pistol but I have more rifles than pistols. Some of the airguns they have out now are pretty insane. Many of the larger PCP rifles are capable of taking down large game like buffalo.

My uncle had (or still has) one like that that I used to shoot from time to time, was pretty decent, had a good weight to it too.

Sounds like fun; if you're "fishing" with it or shooting at night, be sure you know your local laws: shooting/fishing/hunting violations can get expensive.

With optics you get what you pay for. But with that, you may not want a $100+ red dot. BSA makes a 30mm red dot that may suit your needs but not break the bank if you drop it in the field or something - can be found at your typical "mart" kind of stores and online everywhere.

Until then, or as an alternative, you can try some bright colored paint (glow in the dark?) on your sights. The "mart" stores should have that, too.

PCP with compressed air not Co2. Co2 doesn't have enough psi and is dirty.

yea im just target shooting with the gun. i was thinking of the glow paint but i dotn want to mess up the look of my gun.

this is the gun i have. there are no dove tails so i would have to use a trigger guard mount but ive heard those suck...

here's my kjw m700 take down version
i modified it to accept CO2 or PCP
prefer the PCP though since it has no cool down effect and can hit higher and more consistant number behind a chrono
last i checked i was getting about 643-650 fps w/ .56 bb's

how are you measuring your fps ?

i would love to get somthing even close to decnt here in nyc..but its all banned!..cant even get a legal gub with papers..stupid state..the bil of right down the drian here!

using a local airsoft shops' chrono. they last tested it on the feild, during pre skirmish clearence. almost a year ago though, havent had a chance to really sneak in a game since then

im pretty sure all my seals are worn by now and will probabbly blow out somthing if i tried to shot at the psi i was runnning in the past

i bleive its just NYC and Yonkers and not the whole state. i live in ny.
