The mud made for a hard day on the rocks, it was a great turn out and was still a lot of fun hope everyone enjoyed it as much as I did. I would like to run more of these in the future and the next one will be up North followed by one down South there will be a few months in between to give us time to fix/improve our rigs. By the next time we run a race there will be a set of rules to make judging easier , the rules for Trucks will stay very open with a 2.2 wheel class and unlimited.

Did anyone get any pics? I didn't bring my camera for some reason. Here's what my rigs look like now.

Wow, those are clean!

And although I did get a full battery pack through my super tearing it down and washing the mud off revealed more damage than I thought had been done. The upper links on both axles are bent, the frame rails are bent in ways I did not intend, and one of the brand new C-hubs has a crack starting:lol:

Looks like it was a good time! I'm sorry I couldn't make it. :( That's the second in as many I haven't been able to attend ... though from the sounds of it maybe it's best I didn't - sounds like the carnage was pretty intense. Rockshow's rig is pretty well trashed. I actually broke an axle shaft the day before just wheeling around, so I'd have had to start the day with on-site repairs (after begging, buying, borrowing, or stealing the shaft from someone at the comp!).

Looks like it was a good time though!

Hey Jason, Where's my prizes? I go home thinking I got 3rd or 4th place, then I check the results and what do you know... I pushed past Jason and beat him by 1 little minute.
It wasn't the best conditions but I think I can speak for everyone that showed up, What a blast! The mud was a little frustrating at times the rocks were like Kris lubed them up with ''KRISCO" ;-) but everyone seemed to manage a pretty constant smile! Thanks for letting us shred up your "yard" again Kris, can't wait for the next one.

Well lets see more pics"thumbsup" I was tryin to make it, just didn't get my rigs done in time. :-(

That's because I've been driving around with the parts you need for your clod for like 2 months now!

I had a blast! I realy didn't think that my crawler was going to have a chance of winning. The rain made every thing hard. But i like it hard"thumbsup"

Can't wait for the next race!!

Here are all the pics I took. Sorry it wasn't more but between judging and the snow this was all I could get. 8)

I really had a great time. It was great to see everyone that showed up to compete and to watch. The side by side racing on course two was just about the funniest thing I've ever done with a crawler. Sorry for taking you out Skippy but it had to be done. I look forward to doing more of these, and thanks to Kris for letting us tear up his yard. "thumbsup"

Here's what a rock racer looks like after mud bogging.  THe ORCRC guys should be proud of us I think.
