Well after taking 2 months off, lets try this again. I checked the weatherman and there is none of that crappy white stuff expected for the next 10 days so we should be able to pull this off.

Location: Red Rocks
Date: 3/4/7
Time: 9am signup, start right after that.

At this comp we will be running the Superclass first, followed by the 2.2 class, if you switch parts between the 2 have your supers ready when you get there.

Also due to time constraints we will not be taking the normal 30 minutes to an hour lunch break like normal. There will be a short period of time for us to rearrange the courses and we'll get right back at it, so plan ahead and bring a lunch with you to eat when you get a chance.

I need people to step up and judge, without judges we can't do this stuff. I will fill in these spots as people let me know they are willing to help. If we can't fill the spots we'll just cut the courses down until we have enough judges. ie: if we only get enough judges for 1 or 2 courses that's all we'll run.

Superclass Course Judges:
  • 1-Slugz
  • 2-666
  • 3-Bender

2.2 Class Course Judges:
  • 1-Deadshort
  • 2-Slowrockr
  • 3-RacerX

Directions to Red Rocks: C-470 to morrison road, go west. Just after you go through town on the right will be Entrance #3 to red rocks, turn right and park there. You'll see the big crowd of us there.

Just so you know for those of you that have never been to that location before to get to the actual comp spot you have to walk up hill maybe 1/4 mile to get to the comp spot, so if you are bringing a ton of stuff make sure it's got wheels.

I'll help judge either or both, just tell me where to go boss.
Awesome, added you to the 2.2 class for now. I'll keep you in mind for the supers if we can't get some else to step up.

I'd like for each judge to only have to judge one course. We typically have 25 competitors in each class, I don't think that asking 6 guys to help run the event is asking too much ;)

If needed I'd be willing to judge super, just let me know. I'll have enough going with it being my 1st comp and all. I think everyone should pitch in, just the way I've done things with other forms of competitions, that way one person, or group or people, don't get burned out on it.

Just my $0.02 looking in as an outsider"thumbsup"

Yep I feel bad sticking one person with a clipboard all day, so from here on out all our events will be posted up like this, if a course doesn't get filled we will just not run that course. Maybe if we run a couple of events with just one course more people will be willing to step up.

Alright guys thanks a lot for stepping up looks like we have all the needed judges so we can run all the courses!

Now that we have that issue out of the way we can get to our normal precomp trash talking.

I spent all day yesterday with Aaron welding some new goodies onto my Huslter, you'd better watch out for my new secret weapon in the superclass.

The 2.2 class is going down as well, I've got my super tight turning CVD's in place, and the rear steer is gonna make getting around those cones a breeze!

You'd better lock that rear out mechanically, or you will be DQ'd.
