I know the typical tranny to go with in a crawler is a Stampede one, but has anyone ran a e-rustler tranny? If so, how was it? I got a good deal on one and figured Id give it a shot, but now would like some feedback so I dont waste my time with it. Whatd ya think?

they look a little different.. Heres the rustler one..(Mine looks a little different because its the electric version. The one pictured below is a nitro 2.5 one I believe)

Im new to the crawling scene, but have been in nitro's for a few years now, and couldnt believe how small the thing is.. I thought it was missing something..lol..

when people run the nitro trannies they use a custom motor plate to mount the motor. and yeah it is pretty small. have you seen the r2 trannies from rc4wd? those are small

Electric bandit, Eletric stampede, and Electric rustlers both have the "exact" same transmission! pedes/rustys are pretty much the same truck, on swami-rc it showed how to convert a rusty to pede or pede to rusty, new parts was 30 bucks worth!!!!

Heres a stampede tranny..

Good luck on the build!

Well for starters, the E-tranny has a mount for a motor and with the nitro tranny you'll have to fab one up to make it work.
