crawling in mariposa

I found that I have the same problem in Modesto. i found some Facebook groups but they are either not active or private and I cannot get anyone to respond to invite requests. I have started to go to site that i found by searching old posts and groups and have yet to run into other crawlers.

Similar issue. I have found a few places around 108/120. Currently I primarily run at Mt Diablo and Redhills. There are a few trails around Bagby that I plan on checking out soon while the weather is fair.

We(wife and I) go to knights ferry right now, it is pretty decent upstream of the covered bridge on both sides. I have heard of red hills, but have not been there, also heard of a spot off 120/49 past the bridge over don pedro.

We will be at Knights Ferry this Saturday.

Ive never herd of any of those places the 120 and 108 are a long ways away from the town of mariposa one of these days i want to stop at the rock shop the dry creek bed behind the shop looks like its got some awsome crawling

I looked up knights ferry and it looks awsome but its a 2 hour drive 81 miles and at 16 mpg its a costly drive

You are off the 140 heading into Yosemite, here is an idea you can try. we sometimes go up the 108 into the mountains and we will stop off at large granite formations and crawl. we have found several that are pretty cool. Take a day trip and go out and try to find some spots.

Im off the 49 but ya the problem im having is everything i come across is private property ive headed out on some of the back woods trails in my 1:1 but im just not finding any good spots i drove past a park in raymond that look like it might have something but again its along drive i dident have my rigs with me so i dident stop oh well ill figure it out im only here for a few more months then its back home to johnson valley
