Hey guys,

Any idea if this set up would work? Im looking at the 5-7 watt led Cree light bulbs( 2X High Power White T15 912 920 CREE LED Bulbs Backup Reverse Lights 15 | eBay) for cars and a 6 watt Cob light bar( High Power COB 200 SMD White LED Lights for DRL Fog Driving Lamp Trunk Cargo | eBay) instead of the common RC Light bars. The Bulbs will be headlights and I will be using the heyok external power with dimmer harness. Any of you electrical experts see an issue with the wattage or the run time on a 4400 mah battery?

Got the cob 84 led bars. Very bright at 12v (I'm scared to look at them directly at full power). Ran them for an hr and simply got hot to the touch. No grilling on these babies. Also purchased the led projectors. No go on them, they get way to hot after a few minutes. Not able to handle them bare handed. Will post some pics with the bar installed. Not to bad for $15 (with a spare) & waterproof. They even seem to be comparable to the output of the $45 bars posted earlier.

Pics as promised!! Looks legit "thumbsup" I engineered the bar holders and the piece the led bar sticks to from sheet metal I had.

Lights on full 12v. I also installed some rock lights from LED strips. All I bought was some plugs and the Cob bar. Does not get too hot and is cheap cheap cheap. I believe its in the 200 lumen range without all the heat issues seen with other led bars with similar output. Ill get a laser thermometer and report back later with the the temps.

That looks like a good option. Can you tell me how long that one is? I think the ad said something like 7 inches but yours doesn't look that long.
