Creepy sh*t with my Verizon S4

Yeah I have had some weird stuff happen with my phone too. I went to drop a deuce the other day and when I went to flush there was nothing there. I didnt think much of it. Ghosts sh!ts happen.

Then I go back out to the garage to check my phone and low and behold theres a picture of a turd in the toilet set as my desktop.

same shit happened to me. I went to type in the letter "p" and bam!!! All sorts of "porn" website came out......it knows what I was thinking.

Its really weird you posted this as I just had a conversation last week with my wife on the very subject.

I've got a new Droid RAZR Ultra.

I sat down to eat dinner (fish) and my wife handed me a brand new bottle of tartar sauce. While opening the bottle, I instinctively started reading (quietly to myself) the ingredients. I noticed one of the ingredients were Capers.

I've seen and eaten them before, but never really knew what they were, so, I started to Google it on my phone.

I typed the word WHAT.
The sentence "What are Capers", immediately popped up!

I'm still dumbfounded as to how/why this happened? It was so random and only a thought in my head!

In regards to the Craigslist ad it remembers the location of the person who placed the ad. You then look at the ad and it remembers that so when you start to type in the address it senses you want to go to where the jack is located.

I wasn't looking at the ad on the phone, I was using a PC with IE as the browser. I only used the phone to make the call, all communication was verbal, nothing was texted back and forth. I dunno, I still think it's not a coincidence but I have no idea how Google could do it.

Two things... First, since I did the update on my iPhone my phone now tracks where Im going automatically gives me estimated time and traffic reports for all my regular stops even if I don't program them in, what's worse is I just got this phone from Verizon and it still had the last guys information programmed into it they didn't even erase that... Nothing like tech keeping track of you then serving up your information on a silver platter to strangers

I had seen a documentary where the trashed computers from developed countries would end up in Africa and china.People there sell the computer hard drives to gangsters so that they can mine out information like bank details, credit card details etc etc. I am sure this goes on everywhere and not only in these two countries.

Whats once saved, cannot be unsaved..:ror:

It was pretty funny... Verizon was talking me thru transferring info from one phone to the other, then when I turned on the new one it was already setup. When I asked when they started using "sample" info, the woman on the other end got very flustered and upset

I know a lot of you guys run androids and iPhones but being Canadian and all, I have been a long time supporter of Blackberry (plus having good friends on the inside helps too...LOL) but the "remote log" info that BB has on their phones is pretty damn un nerving. The good thing is, it can be turned off.

For example some of the log info includes and can be sent to RIM without user confirmation:

Precise location, Screen capture, voice and audio capture, raw memory captures, Network traffic sampling

All of this under the guise of "bug reporting" and according to my inside information....you do not want any of this happening. The laws pertaining to privacy in Canada are much stronger than that of the US so it is an option that can be turned off and not be logged even behind the scenes. I wonder if any of these Android US phones are running something like this in the background? Just a thought.

I've been randomly saying "cat food" when I am around my iPhone. Experiment to see if I get emails and website suggestions for kitty food. :ror:

I'm going to start saying butterscotch pudding. No damn way to accidentally get jello ads... If Apple is watching I'm gonna start giving them a show

A former coworker bought a brand new car yesterday (literally right off the truck, 4 miles when the papers were signed!), and he and I talked a bit about it yesterday and I looked at it before heading home. This morning I told Dad about it and then started browsing on my phone, only st see ads for a local dealer for that same car on different sites, even though it was a couple different Mopar related sites ?! Funny thing is, the phone was within earshot for both conversations and in my pocket when I looked at it and the only time it was on data of any kind was while I told Dad about it this morning with the phone being on our home WiFi and right next to us.

The only thing smart about a smart phone was the guy who convinced people that a slow computer with a tiny screen was worth paying extra for.

Use my Note 3 for darn near everything. Only fire up my big fancy PC to do CAD/CAM, video editing, or RAW image processing. The rest the time its shut off.

Hell its even replaced note pads for doodling.... .

Two months ago some robbers had looted a manufacturing company and were successful in getting away with 20000000/- Rupees which is equal to 322580 USD. They were successful in getting away for 2 days only:lmao:. Who will explain to these uneducated robbers from the village, what role electronics is playing in today's world.

In a way Electronics = Parasite
