That's right UA5 ,
Urban Assault 5 ! Dashing Through the Core .
5 Times we went into the core , downtown Calgary .
5 Times I asked people if they wanted to go for a different trail run .
And everytime people said Hell Ya !!
I said , But , Its cold out ?
They said , We don't care , lets go .
So we did it again .
The coldest Assault on record .
We broke the record for attendance !
It was -15 celcius before the wind chill .

I got there early and waited to see how many would show up , I was blown away !
What a turnout !
We had 42 as the highest number , although it went down a bit with breakages .
A run like this is an Endurance run , for some its bad news when they find a problem in the parking lot and have to turn back or go anyway with no rig .
Others start off strong but breakage can hit you when you least expect it .
The cold is not for everyone .
The cold , the long run . Can affect parts , electronics have a habit of acting up at the worst possible times .
What a crew of Troopers though I tell you what !

We had guys and gals , The TRCC mom and pop team , a few young ones .
A great time , Its so cool to look behind you on a city block and see a group of people spread through the whole block with rc;'s !
We always behave as far as traffic controls and pedestrians and stuff go .
We want all positive feedback from these runs .
All the people we see love the rigs , most are friendly and chatty even ,.
Calgary is a great city , I love it here . I really like these runs , seeing all the people and showing off the fun we have with our rc's is just so cool .
I thank each and every one of you for coming out !
I hope you enjoyed yourself and weren't too cold !
Special Thanks to JD for running around and getting some cool shots of the rigs and drivers .
He was without truck and mandaroo this night so filmed the whole run .
