Ok after 2+ hours of searching and reading I have found that the 2 softest springs you can get the losi white 1.8 lb/in and the losi grey 1.6 lb/in are discontinued so what are the new choices for a 3" or 76mm x 3/8" or 15mm springs. I will be running 110mm shocks/w semi droop setup and need SOFT springs. I want these shocks to run at 3/4 travel. I was looking at these. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=110162833654&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT&ih=001 However a T-maxx is heavy, and they do run 8 shocks. So maybe 4 of the soft ones will be soft enough. Any help would be appreciated."thumbsup"

Take a trip down to the local hardware store, they should have something that fits. I have some springs out of an old Mikuni carb that I am experimenting with.

X2.
After a few hours of researching on the internet and two returned orders to A Main Hobbies for springs that were suppose to be super soft and were not, I went to ACE Hardware. I found everything I needed and more. The price was roughly .90 cents a spring.

I still had to size some of the springs down for length. I used a die grinder with a cut off wheel to remove a coil and a half. Then I used a mini torch to heat the end of the spring in order to bend it flat for a flush mounting surface to the shock.

Just a general comment anytime you shorten a spring you are raising it's effective rate. There is less material and it will stiffen the spring.

Also the comment about heating and bending will also harden or soften the material depending on length and temp. If you shorten a spring the best idea is to just rebend with a pair of needle nose pliers. Working the material as little as possible.

Got my losi whites from The Bay, still on there look for Item number 250152840166

keep looking these are not the softest.
Spend some time on integys sale section.

Found the current softest spring the AX-10 reds 1.32 lb/in. Even softer then the Losi grays.

"thumbsup" It is the right length and width and you don't have to hunt for them.

these are infact much harder then there suggested spring rate on the package, couldnt tell you how they gauged this, but this are much stiffer then even a losi yellow.

hmmmmm funny when i went to me LHS they weren't discontinued but maybe they are. i have the stock axial blues in the rear w/ a 3/4 inch spacer to limit travel to fight torq twist and the losi greens in the front.
