Currie rock jocks worth it?

I like the Vanquish Currie Rockjock Axles For The SCX10 II
Because of the molded in skid plate and that there silver the same color as Testors Silver model paint.
So when they get scratched up I can just sand them a little and with a little silver paint there like new agine.

If your shooting for the scale look then yes the price is worth it. Performance wise, yes you get some added clearance and very slight added weight down low, but there are other much cheaper housings that are full steel to help substantially with that down low weight. A common one people use is the heavy steel Boom Racing “PHAT” axle.

Another really great option (new product too) is SSD’s full option lines for the 10ii. The new scale looking Pro44 housings with included aluminum tubes is the route I’m going. The Pro44s with SSD’s aluminum C-hubs hooked up with the new compatible brass knuckles (which are very heavy), will get you plenty of weight where you want it without breaking the bank, all with upgrades that are needed anyways I.e. c-hubs,knuckles..
