Hey guys!

I'd like some input & ideas on lighting for my Proline F-150 Raptor body Im working on. Its the 2017 Proline Raptor body with Cab for the TRX4. Seen here its sitting on my Vaterra 1972 Suburban Chassis. (I have both trucks... and noticed how nicely this body fits on the Vaterra suburban -another story...)

Question: I masked out the headlights. Next Im going to Mask out the fog lamps. I've been debating about how to light both the headlights and fog lamps. The fog lamps being so close to the tires and bumper area puts anything I do that attached there in jeopardy.... SO.... Im thinking now, Light up the entire front end with a strip light LED mounted under the hood, inside facing the FORD logo and wide enough to light the headlights on either side. It wont be a primary source of driving lights, it wont need to be, because I plan on Primary lighting to be a strip light LED on the hood, near the windshield. A Strip light under neath the hood close to the front could potentially light the headlights AND fog lamps if positioned properly... AND as BONUS... I could mask off the FORD logo on the grill to be clear lexan and that way the strip light would illuminate the FORD logo. Im thinking that would be really cool and in addition, make the whole lighting install way easier because I woudlnt have to fabricate individual lightinf fixtures to install an LED behind each headlights.

So IM asking you guys for ideas, input and comments regarding mounting a LED strip under the hood, directly behind the upper front end (directly behind the scale bumper)...

Whatcha think??

Yeah, Im debating either just buying LED Diodes and rigging up some posts glued or epoxied to the body OR just buying an LED strip mount (or two of them) like you normally would for a hood mount and mounting them on the inside.

Proline makes a great light kit with bucket mounts included, but none of them will fit the headlight shape of the raptor. I considered making my own.... until I realized I wanted to light up the FORD logo on the grill and that gave birth to the Light Strip idea. -Probably the most simple way to go.

Personaly i would use a.differant color to light the ford logo a blacklight or blue light thats just me though light strips work great but are still limited because of the light placement on the strip ive ended up folding and manipulating them to get the lights where.i want them ive found it easyer for custom stuff to just use the led bulb
My curent build is gona have 4 warm white bulbs and 2 cool white for the off road lights and a black light strip in the hood scoop and of course red in the back the warm whits mimics the standered car headlights and the cool white gives a solid bluewhite light then the black light just for color lol it makes it inter3sting to look at at might and is more realistic in my opinion anyway
