Cutting the cord

Cutting the cord turned out the best decision. Once I cut the cord, I started watching less tv. And this is great as I have to work on my dissertation. I have already done a lot of background reading but I feel like the whole thing is impossible to do in such a short space of time (I have 2 months only). Maybe I will use some third party help

We haven't had cable for nearly 7 years now.
My son doesn't even understand what it is! He'd rather be outside anyway and that's how I like it.

We do have streaming services, though, so it's not like we don't watch tv at all.
We run Netflix, prime, hulu and Disney+ thru 4k firesticks now.
Previously we streamed with the ps3, ps4, apple tv and smart tvs, but the firestick is by far my favorite now.
