What the hell does religion or politics have to do with any of this? Do you not have any pets of your own? How would you feel if someone used your dog for target practice?

1. Dont you read the bible, humans are the main things on the earth!
2. Animals are for us to enjoy, but are not as important
3. Most of them dont live near as long as us, dogs,cats, Lizards, salamanders,fish, etc etc etc!
5. They cant talk like us because they are not as important
6. They dont know wtf a computer is because there a "ANIMALl"
7. They cant tell you what they want because there "ANIMALS"
 
clodcrawlin the bb gun is not going to kill the damn cat.Like i said earlier,i shot the cat i dealed with 2 times with a22 rifle the first one was i thought the firfect shot right behind the shoulder i to am a good shot.He was gone for a month or so he heeled up and was back.Cats are tough to kill[9 lives] its true.Ishot this fawker again with 22 rifle going for a head shot sent him rollin .He ran off side ways thought i had him.1 month later he came back.THats when i got out the carp bow so then when you hit him he cant get away.when i reeled him in and killed it.i noticed i blew one ear off and part of his damn head and the fawkin cat was still coming back killin chickins.i wont mention again but im tellin you the bow will finish the job.im speekin from exsperiance clod crawlin youre speakin from youre ***.sorry bud truth hurts

You are Ignorant , When Did anyone mention God or politics?
This has nothing to do with either , It has to do with treating others as you want to be treated.

If you want to kill an animal Go Deer Hunting and Eat the Thing.
If you arent going to eat it dont kill it. Simple as that.

Animal lover or not, if another animal is trying to kill your own you do what it takes to protect it. A cat gets into my rabbits cage, or is a persistant threat to any animals of mine i assure you it will not live long after.

What do you think animal control will do with a stray? kill it.

Blowing it up is plenty humane anyway, it will be a bloody mist before it realizes anything has happened. Thats just my way of dealin with it.
 
Im not speaking out of my ***, Ive shot squirrels, one pump of a multi pump bb gun will send that fawker far, my airsoft almost kills a squirrel!

I say bring in all your animals one night, and have a trap with a piece of cheese in it and catch it! Knock it out, tie its paws to a piece of plywood, duct tape its mouth shut, and let your cat kick his *** (Paybacks a bitch!)! Anything goes wrong you push your cat away, and smash it with a shovel!

i'm not sayimg amything about god. i was trying to say you were talking to the wrong audiance. like putting 4wd magizines in the convienence store in compton.

I have been a vet tech for close to three years. I have seen some crazy stuff happen to animals. As far as a pellet gun goes, it will NOT kill a cat unless it is very high powered and the shot is from close range to the head. There have been countless numbers of cats and dogs that come in with anything from pellets lodged in the stomach, to body parts missing due to large caliber rifles and handguns. Animals are tough. Especially cats. I've seen the doctor bend a 14 gauge needle trying to catheterize a cat. There skin is like leather boots. Especially if they are alley cats or ferrel cats.

The most productive way I have found to stop cats from attacking my own is traps and pepper spray.

Also, just try scaring the crap out of it. They are naturally spooky creatures. Sneak up on it with a fog horn or something. There is really no need to shoot it unless you feel personally threatened and fear for your safety.
 
I have a cat, but he stays indoors.

My neighbor's pet cats stay outside even though there's a leash law here in Columbia County.

I've found footprints where this cat had been on my truck, footprints on the wife's PT Cruiser, and caught the damn things sleeping in the floor of the Tracker.

Was at his house a few days ago when he found footprints on HIS truck.

Here's the discussion that took place:

"If you catch my cat on your cars, shoot it."

"Shoot it? You mean 9 mil or paintball?"

"Paintball"

"OK"

Pretty easy, really. A shot to the hip won't kill the cat, just scare it silly. He even offered to buy some new air tanks.

I've also had the exact same discussion with a local cop.

His explanation was that if the animal is a nuisance "it's fair game".

The dog that attacked me a couple of months ago would've been dead if I'd had the 9 mil on me at the time.

Add to that the reality of how quickly strays can mulitply and it's an easy choice. If you don't take care of one now you'll have ten to deal with later.

If the cat isn't a stray, it should have a collar and a tag on it.
