This build started out a few months ago when hillbillycrawler and I were talking about a quad cab build I was planning. After I told him the plan he called me a damn Yankee. So i decided to name the regular cab build I had planned!

The build started when I contacted a local fabrication shop. After a few days of messaging back and forth the build was on. The plan was to build a regular cab f350 high lift body into a 1.9 pre runner Baja style truck with straight bed sides, custom front bumper and a spare tire mount. However why the custom bumper was made is what is special, there is a 4 inch VP led light bar!

The truck needs finishing touches still but so far it has:
black VP light bar (a first for me)
Rc4wd cms (another first)
Strc cvds (yet another first)
Savox 1231sg servo
Wb8 driveshafts
Hr knuckles
Hr c hubs
Black axial 1.9 beadlocks
Rc4wd Mickey Thompson Baja claw TTC tires (the 4.2 inch ones)
MMP
Pro4 4000kv (already had it)
17/54 gearing
Castle bec set to 6.0V
Walker Evans 1.9 with a proline super swamper sx spare

Yea this build has a lot in it that I normally wouldn't do but it's one of the nicest scx10s I've ever owned!
I will post pics later on or tomorrow.

I was able to get it finished enough to run it today which I did however I noticed a big problem way to quickly. I thought the spur was off center but upon closer inspection the top shaft on the trans is just barely bent! I've never had this happen before so I guess its a good excuse to upgrade the top shaft.

Looking good so far! "thumbsup"
Thanks man. I trimmed the wheel arches to clear the tires, it doesn't look perfect but it could be worse. I also ordered a super shafty top shaft last night.
