It's a "say my name" elmo-you can teach it the kids name. It's not just that one-some disgruntled worker programmed over 100 of the things to start saying "kill (name of child)" after the first battery change.

Ha!!! Too funny... my wife and I were just in a store and I decided to poke all the new elmos to make an annoying chorus of toys. But... they all sang a song that seemed to have a chorus line of "I'm a d*ck, I'm a d*ck". We spent about 15mins trying to figure out what it really was saying before we left thinking "It can't be so... he's elmo"
