what is the best way to go about cutting delrin? I am looking to make steering links for super bully axles. I either want to do a BTA setup or a high clearance setup. but maybe a combo of the two
Any small saw like a coping saw or hacksaw will easily cut delrin. As will a cutoff disk on a Dremel. Keep in mind Delrin is a pretty flexible plastic. Links will bend if not fat enough. It's more common to use aluminum or titanium for links. VP sells a nice selection of generic threaded Ti links...just add rod ends.
That's cute - I like. Can it accept somewhat larger disks for making longer cuts in sheet? I'd like to see how well that works on carbon fiber for trays and plates and such.
Thank you, I saw on his site that he made links for a few chassis I didn't know he did custom links. I just ordered a few parts from him, waiting for them to come in. I got the servo mounts and servo strengtheners.

An old model building tool everyone should have is a Zona or Xacto razor saw. They come in different lengths, depths and tooth counts. I've used them to cut balsa, ply, dowel, carbon fiber, plastic, aluminum and brass tube. Since getting into crawlers, have used a razor saw to mod wheels/rims. They waste a minimum of material because of the thin blades.
