Curious how many have it, even on other consoles, and what do you think about the game?
I know there's a mouthful to be said, seeing as it is Bungie and Activision, well, bungie creators and Activision funding it for another '10 years'

If your on ps3, and looking to run around, help with missions and queens orders, or PvP, Jhawk7o7. Lvl 25 warlock.

It is tiring trying to level up and all I can do is bounty and queens missions. But trying to find all golden chests, dikin around exploring the planets, it's enough to hold me to it. Definitely like this better then the usual run n gun, and bf4. The story left too many holes. I think activision chopped it up for dlc to squeeze every last nickle and dime they could for a '10 year' game. Bungie announced that users may never truly beat the game, and there was an uodate this morning, have yet to see what it has done for game play, other than that it was server reboot.
Still, I find myself enjoying it. Just not the grind, farming, etc. The public events are kick ass when there's agood number of people playing though.

The grinding is terrible, and I just don't do farming...though I have started exploring higher altitudes and found a few perches that are pretty lucrative.

Completing the game is not really an issue...getting my moneys worth is, and I don't believe I've gotten that yet.

PVP is better than it was for some reason. It always felt like walking into a slaughterhouse, so much so that I would give up trying to take people out and instead focus on strategically and repetitively taking one for the team. :ror: Lately though, its seems a bit more balanced.

I was actually thinking about picking this up for the xbox one, but there are a bunch of releases this fall so I'm wondering if its worth it. From what i gather from the you tubes its so much like halo to me. And with the halo release coming up why should I buy destiny?

Because bungie has a 10 year contrcat to keep the game and it's conumers updated. They already have 2 dlc's ready, and i believe one of them will have 2 other planets with more of the story. But, it is personal preference in the end. I liked halo and halo3 myself, none of the others, why not get both? Buy dlc based on what game you prefer more. If you truly dislike one or the other, you can always trade it with someone for another game.
This last update (this morning) changed some of the multiplayer around. More level playing field on the crucibles, unless you go to iron banner which is based on your gear/weapons. People were complaining that a lvl11 could take you out with a melee, they still can, though your attributes have a toll in the damage you can take.
Besides being 1 person, you can create 3 different classes, and from those 3 you have 3/4 different 'race' you can choose from.
I enjoy it, imagine halo+starwars+cod/bf.

Thats just the .02c i have for it right now. Once I'm capped around high 20s I'll probably have more to gripe about how repetitive it is.

I have been playing it a little on PS3. Its OK, a little over hyped I think. Sometimes the frame rate makes my motion sick, that is always fun. Also, I am used to playing FPS on a computer, on a console my thumbs fight each other.

It was a screaming pain the butt to get to play the game. Right from the get-go we got an error message, once passed it we got another, and another, and another. After a while cutesy animal error codes loose their cutesiness. My wife is tenacious, and pretty good at computer/console troubleshooting and worked her way through it, took three days.

Ok thats my answer right there, i dont buy dlc. I will pay full price for the game but thats it. Whatever comes with the full price disc is what I get. If dlc is free then thats one thing but i wont/refuse to buy dlc. Guess i will go as far as the disc takes me.
