Dhawk aluminum front bulkhead!!

I just pulled the trigger on one as well. It has taken about two weeks for shipping from Dhawk in the past. Ive had great results with the aluminum bulkhead from GPM on my Axial Exo! I have a Castle MMP 2400kv in it and run 4s! My Exo was chewing up gears until I installed the Aluminum bulkhead and shimmed the mesh right. The Dhawk design is the same as the GPM. The two halves split vertically which means there is no way of something coming apart and affecting gear mesh..

I also have the Hot Racing aluminum diff cup and Dhawk spacer. Put all this together with Fast Eddy bearings and she should be bulletproof.

These damn hop-ups are overpriced. If things would stay in the ~$30 range they'd sell a boatload.

Unde $70 for an all aluminum 1/8 scale gear box/bulk head is not way off. It's about right. And they are already sold out!! WOW!
I paid $300+ for front and rear FLM hybrid bulks for a T maxx project.

So is eBay the only source for this product?

Who is dhawk for 150 pat....
Some Asian company who was one of the first to start making aluminum parts for the yeti xl...as I understand all of his parts are top notch. I wanted this front bulk head but guess I'm gonna have to wait for the next batch[emoji17] [emoji19]

I ordered one as well as soon as I saw the first post. Hopefully the front sway bar will work now. With the stock bulkhead, the 2 tabs up front to mount the sway bar broke from just sitting in my trunk.

I have bought quite a few things from Dhawk, all have been about 5 to 7 days to California. I ordered a bulkhead last night and got tracking info about 2 hours later.

Ya, I have never had to wait a full two weeks to get my things either honestly. It's always just a touch more than a week and 1/2.

I'll wait till someone has tried to fit one first.

Wonder how the pinion is retained?

If it is made like the GPM one for my Exo Terra it will have bearing retainers built itno the aluminum. If so it will eliminate the need for the spacer and bearing retainer screws altogether. You will snap the bearings into the aluminum, slide the pinion shaft through, and then use the c clip to retain it. That is pretty much how all my other rc's are from the factory. But, we will see when it arrives.

6 left now. I just bought one myself. I got the bellcrank steering assembly from dhawk already, took about 10 days to get to Philly. His stuff so far has been excellent and that's the same feedback I hear from anyone else who've bought his products.
