dpdsurf's XR10 Build & Review

Here's CDW's XR10 chassis. This thing turned out nice. "thumbsup"

- 1/8" delrin side plates
- 1/16" single piece electronics & skid plate
- 50mm total width
- Only 70 grams total as shown
- Raised rear skid
- Front shock mounts setback shorter to maintain similar characteristics to the stock XR10 chassis.

So Dave what do you plan to do with the links from the stock chassis?
I call dibs if you decide to not use them on your new chassis:mrgreen::mrgreen:

I reused the uppers and I think I'll hold on to the lowers for now. I'd be happy to bend some up for you though.

I finally got around to adding larger bearigs. I rebuilt both gear boxes at Nats before Saturday's event and have not touched them since then. The 8mm Avid bearings were still in perfect condition. But bigger can't hurt. I actually used a 10mm bearing on the upper part that is exposed from the back. Figured it couldn't hurt and no other mods are required for a 10 in this location. The other 2 are 9's.
