2 days ago in Vegas. Driver was knocked out they think on the first hit and kept the throttle pinned while out. Pretty badass motor to hold together that long. Extreme Drag Radial Car.

Holy cow, Really hope the guy is ok...and whom ever built that engine should be very proud on the abuse it took !!

wow:shock: thats crazy
good thing that car stayed in place, instead of flying all over the place. He could have been in worse shape, more than what he is now, i'm sure.
I'm surprized they didn't hit that kill switch in the rear, faster than what they did. scene safe

Not a good weekend for racing down in Vegas. I believe there was a total of 3 big wrecks 1 in Outlaw 10.5 and 2 in Extreme Drag radial. 1 guy is still in the hospital with a head injury. The guy in the Video is Eric Peterson,He was out cold until the crew got to him. He was back at the bar on Sunday night....
Heres the car b4...

Alot of people have mentioned the kill switch, but the safety crew did a pretty good job...1 for the driver, 1 for the water and 1 for the switch......not bad.

My buddy races in the same class as Eric and clicked off a 203.8@7.2? pass pedaling twice on a 315 drag radial...setting a new class record.
