Dravpnir tries to build something micro, again...

In this case they call reverse delay "brake" not having it allows you to go from forward to instant reverse to prevent a rollover on an incline. Otherwise there is stop, a few seconds of delay, then tap reverse again to move.
Metal gears are available with searching. I've seen people recently post about picking some up

Also was thinking of buying this cool little truck. Losing the body, the chassis almost looks like a bodiless and then buying some of the moa axles that go to this truck. Only thing that stinks is I can't find it as a kit.
if I used that with moa axles from the rocksta which it seems can be bought seperately and dual escs and those wheels and knuckle weights drav has going on I think it would be a really cool rig.

That's the HBX I believe. Similar drivetrain to the sumo. You should check out fungi aka Jim Frye @ lynx micro tech for a better and more suitable chassis IMO he has a website, Facebook page, and shapeways site

Wouldn't I want a ESC with a brake?
If I can't get metal gears I might not get it anyway.

I picked these up for $9 for the pair on ebay, there is a switch for brake or not. Been holding up but not the low speed control I'm used to, although it could be that the axles are geared higher.

I hope he sells the knuckles for MRC unis, I've got a few sets laying around I'd like to use on the Basher axles.

The metal gears are backordered at Hobby King with no eta on new stock.

What's the name of the escs?
I would love to be able to buy the knuckle weight combo though especially if it has a mount for the lower links.

Those ESCs are the XYS-BL20A I mentioned. They are popular and sometimes branded as other kinds. Most don't have the switch to turn off reverse delay which is fine. It's only really useful in a fast car or something anyway

Thanks for the tip-I haven't, It's a new-to-me Futaba 4PL I got for dual esc mixing. I only know enough about it so far to set up the buttons for mixing and the basics. I need to read up...:)
If that doesn't work I have 2 Tekin b1R's I might try.
