DT’s 30s

No, I will always run plastic housings, they slide better. The uni's are Injora.
Ah so it's just the Meus knuckles. Glad to see the Injora universals play well with the Meus knuckles.

You gotta stop this crap. You're really making me want a second SCX30 that I can build up. I want to keep my Bronco stock.

No way am I stopping. Upgrades are probably done for a bit though once the furitek shows up for mine. the kid stays brushed until he can exhibit consistent throttle control.

Patiently waiting on the Truglet chassis from Flub RC to go to a rock buggy style with flat skid, and divorced and optimized upper link placement.

I'm torn between the Jeep and the Chevy. The Chevy looks much better, but has the worse motor for crawling, sits higher, and seems top heavier. The Jeep body also seems to be the best for modded builds.

Have you considered the fuzzy walls setting to create a different texture on the rock and remove the layer lines?
I thought about it, but when I reach the 12 plates I have room for, I am going to give them a few coats of magnetic paint, then go over that with rustoleum stone. It will look more rock like and allow me to use neodymium magnets as gates.

I did not see the universals when I placed my Injora order. How much more steering did they give you?

All the way to the stops on the axle without the hop from over extending the cups. There’s still a minor hop from being locked front rear and middle, but that’s different from Uber receiving the front axle steering hop, it’s very smooth and predictable now

That does suck. Injora products are usually good, although I haven't used any of their electronics, so hopefully they also stand behind them.

Hope so, it feels mechanical, not electronic. With the rig powered off it will grab and not move sometimes when cycled by hand. I want to take it apart, but not until I have heard from their support.

While I wait for a tube chassis to get printed, I figured why not hack up the Bronco body a little bit.

I used the Bronco roof rack as the roll bar and the JLU roof rack cut up and glued inside the body for the bed area.IMG_3501.jpegIMG_3502.jpegIMG_3506.jpegIMG_3507.jpeg

That’s awesome, can’t wait to see it put together! Is this a SCX30 specific chassis, or something else scaled down?
It is scx30 specific. scx30 truggy cage

The next version he's working on has a flat skid angled another 8 degrees with divorced upper link mounted to the chassis for optimal link placement. I'll be printing on of those when they are ready.

Tubes are a little thick and out of scale. I wonder if he made them thicker for strength. Aside from that, it's a cool looking cage and I love that shade of blue!
