I know that the Futaba 4PK and 4PL's are the hot radios around here so I'm not really looking for a critique on stick radios, but I am wondering how many of you are driving your XR10's with a dual stick radio? And if so are you mixing both throttle on one stick with a proportional under/overdrive override on the second stick?

Thanks!

I'm twin sticking mine. Mine is setup where when flip a switch down it digs front or rear (depending on which stick you move) and I also have a "blurp dig" button. When I have the switch flipped up, I have the left stick as throttle and the right stick as steering. It's hard to explain how mine is setup, but I love it."thumbsup" I think you can program the radio for different functions.

Sounds cool! Which model radio do you have?

I would think you would have one stick set for one esc and other stick set for other esc. Dont have to worry about switches :) Then steer with either stick as well.

It works either way. I can have a stick for each motor. I also have the left stick modded so it doesn't turn and only the right stick does.

I got the same set up as shelby. I'm loving it. "thumbsup" It gives you more control of wheel speed than the triggers. You can slow the rear and speed up the front or visa versa depending on the conditions with a little movement of the sticks. "thumbsup"

Nope. Its way easier to run a mix so you're only pushing one stick one direction. I use a slightly backwards JIA style mix, left stick up/down is rear throttle, left stick right/left is front throttle. I only have 1 mix set up, the front axle is slaved off of the rear axle so that pushing the left stick to the right increases front axle speed, the the left slows it down.
