Does it come with a plug to use it in the house or do I need to purchase one. tower says it does but I heard it has one with it

The AC cord is built in. Its the same charger I use.

You mean where it says, "Requires- Power source"? That just means a power source for the DC part of it, I use a car battery.

I have one of these chargers, as well. it is a rather nice charger for the price.
but, i have heard that over time, they tend to start to "false peak".
