I want to get a lipo, I like the size of the 2s e-flite lipo (eflh0990). the question i have is the output is 8c with a max burst of 10c, does that matter as the losi lipo is 15c and 20c max burst?

Cheers

I've been running this for about a month without any problems, I dont think the c rating makes any difference in a crawler

and for the price you cant beat this pack

Hmm... 2 different answers. How does the C rating work? why do I want a higher C? the pack is 800mah

I've been running a Nexxus 2S 800mah with 10C without problem. This is using a B1R and the stock motor (waiting on the Holmes).

No problems at all, and only $15.

I run the one for the Lama 4

C-rating works in conjunction with the MAH rating to determine available constant amp rating and burst rating.

For example, the Losi 600mah 20C lipo can deliver 12amps continuous.
An 800mah 10C can deliver 8amps cont.
An 800mah 15C can deliver 12amps cont.
An 800mah 20C can deliver 16amps cont.
and so forth.
When choosing a lipo, evaluate the amp draw you will be running so you can determine which lipo will be able to supply enough amps.

You can think of it like flowing water.
The higher the Mah - the larger the container of water, or the more capacity the battery has.
The C rating is like the diameter of pipe the water is flowing through.
The larger the pipe (or C rating), the more water (or electricity) will flow faster.

Make sense?

Thank you

Thanks for all the advice"thumbsup", this gives some great info to take to the battery hunt.
