Has anyone bought one of the cheap ebay flash lights. I know they are surely knock off's, and probably do not meet the specs. But damn if they are even close I think they would be a deal.

45W 8500LM 7x CREE XM L T6 LED Flashlight Torch 3X 26650 18650 Charger | eBay

These seem to end up in the $50-60 range total. They are rated around 4500 lumens. I was impressed with the $14 light I bought at walmart that was rated at 140. I am probably gonna jump on one of these, but wondered if anyone else had, and if they did who was the seller.

I heard that some of the batteries in the beginning were not very good. The 18650 batteries but I'm sure that they have been cycled out by now. I was looking at the bike lights also that use the same battery.

cheap fleshlights are never a good idea
Not true. Cheap batteries is a bad idea.

I have a few "cheap" flashlights that I got at dealextreme.com and all have been flawless. You just have to know what LED you're getting and what bin the LED is. The only danger from going cheap is the batteries and how you charge them. Stick with single battery flashlights to be safe. I have a single 18650 XM-L flashlight that is blinding. I also have a magicshine light on my mtn bike. I'm kind of a light freak. I'm still building it, but I'll soon have a Wraith with a dynamic concepts body using two flashlight modules for headlights. I had to machine the buckets out of aluminum to keep things from getting hot and melting

I bought one of these a 1½ years ago.
I don't use it a lot, but I'm very happy with it.
It's only about 400lm though.

I also bought some rechargeable batteries for it.
They are fantastic.
The first battery lasted over a year with occasional use before it needed to be recharged.
And the other was still charged after a year of sitting in the draw.

I have one of those china 85W HID flashlights. when its turned on it is like

At full tilt it do eat up a 7800 or 9200 mah battery pretty quick, but while it is lit up i am outshining most stuff out there

Last summer when me and my M8 was scaling at the forrest near the coast i bullied some anglers with it, they were +1/4 mile further up the coastline

They are damm big torches, can be used ad a baseball bat in a pinch if needed, okay Investment in my eyes.
