ecs/motor ebay question

Hey guys I'm not sure if this is right place but I'm looking at getting this set up on ebay 1 10 ESC Motor Tenshock SC411 9 3500KV Hobbywing SCT Pro 120A for Slash 4x4 Yeti | eBay but it's in china and I'm an ebay noob. I cant find a US seller at this price and I'm not sure if I should be getting stuff from China. Has anyone purchased anything on ebay from some place in china or Taiwan

I do it all the time. Look for 99.3% and above ratings, be prepared to wait, but don't miss your time window to open a case if it doesn't arrive.

Well, you can find a tenshock 411 for 85 shipped just by searching Google and an et-3s (MMP) for 70$ on ebay.

I would go that route myself, and I did get the et-3s.

You don't have to wait for China shipping either.

I was just doing some more looking and that is the way I'm going to go. Have you flashed the et-3s back to the mmp that is the only thing I'm worried about I don't think it hard just don't want to screw it up but if I don't wont to run over 3s I don't think I need to

I didn't need to, I found everything I needed with it in the Traxxas setup.

You do need a castle link to disable the "live link" or it will not do anything with your tx/rx. It just sits there and blinks at you. Live link is one of the settings you access, its not hard to find at all.

i flashed 4 of them from the traxxas software back to actual castle MMP software, not hard at all, and when i bought my ETS-3 they were 58 a piece.

Yeah, that's before the word got out, lol.

I've had a couple and have one now. They're between 68.00-78.00 shipped depending on the vendor.

Just got my et-3s in and flashed it back to a true MMP. Now that I did it for the first time the next wont be so bad

I actually want down a different path for now. The us seller never got back to me so I decided to get the Holmes pro brushless to try and that will be here Monday. I will be getting the tenshock when they come in stock and the Holmes pro will be for my future wraith.
