I wanna be Dave
I will start out with the simple facts I've been in photography all my life, Made a great living fixing cameras and lenses. For the last decade I've been a digital shooter as most are, Never one to allow "stock" anything, I learned developing and processing in the 70's, so I followed on and became adept in Photoshop.
Well fast forward to now and reality is if you want easy workflow in PS you will pay Adobe monthly for using software.....ONLY 19.95 a month!
Now I'm not sure about my math skills, BUT I did figure out what that cost me over a 10 plus year time span and I said NO to ADOBE

So what to do or where to go ? Well after some peer networking and snooping, I found my answer.
Affinity Photo was what I found. You can get a 10 day free trial ...no CC needed and you get the whole enchilada.
I worked and played with it for the week and was hooked....great software!
yes a few limitations, but easy workarounds , both Windows and Mac friendly.
I did go out and buy the software and hardcover book, cost me $100. shipped .
Matt at SBG has been doing a lightroom series on YouTube so this was a bit of inspiration.
Here's an example on Bea
Heres some playing with HDR
