The wife an I stayed at the Hampton inn at rausch 3. I believe the price for the night was 55$ when mentioning, crawling at rausch creek. (If memory serves me correct). I thought it a good price for a nice place to stay an free, real, breakfast!

I am torn if I want to camp for the entire comp fri-sun or get a hotel so I can get a shower and sleep in a real bed. Camping at Rausch is always a blast if you don't mind roughing it."thumbsup"

Our club will be up at Rausch Creek this weekend for the RCrocs CRAWL1 Rock Crawling Series. I'll get some pictures of the camp sites available so you can get a better idea.

RICrawler and I are also on the fence for camping vs. Hotel.

Current thought is Hotel Friday night for good night sleep then camp Saturday night. Can we just toss a tent up at R. Creek or do we need to jump through a couple hoops like a normal campground?

No hoops at all, park and set up your tent. If you decide to go this route let me know I will save several camp sites next to each other."thumbsup"

I just checked hamptons web site $160 per nite, that's absurd
Econo lodge down the street is only $60 (stayed there last year, wasn't thrilled). I guess I'll just have to deal with it and stay there again

John, you think 3 sites would be enough? I can get my hands on some caution tape to rope off what we need.

If we could get from the corner where we usually stay and the next 3 sites over we should be good. It sounds like a lot of guys will be there early. I really would like to get the site that has the large spools that are set up as tables. I am pretty sure the fire ban will be lifted so we can do the campfire thing."thumbsup"
