just wondering what you guys think about a esc and motor for a creeper, that crawls well, good quality, and has a bit of speed and grunt when you need it, ill be using a traxxas tq3 radio and reciever.

also what battery for it? a good battery?

I had a cc sidewinder and integy 55t lathe motor. The motor was just too slow. If at anytime you needed wheel speed you can forget it. I would do a 35t if you go brushed. A friend of mine has a 18.5 novak goat and it works really well. Tons of wheel speed as well as low end grunt. There are a lot of good esc's out there. Novak Goat, Tekin FXR, Castle creations sidewinder and mamba max, Holmes Hobbies Torquemaster etc.. Figure out what motor you want to run and go from there. I've read on here that some people really like the holmes hobbies handwound motors and provide excellent drag brakes.
