Estimated Shipping Time On Orders from RC4WD?

Just curious to know if anyone has recent experience with them. I placed an order for parts two weeks ago. After a week they 'shipped' the order but for them shipping means they created a label.


It's now two weeks since I placed the order (all parts were in stock) and they have not delivered the package to the USPS for shipping. It's just sitting in 'label created' status.




Anyone else have experience? I ordered over a month out from our next event, which I felt was plenty of time to get the parts and get the rig rehabbed and ready, and now I'm stuck waiting on parts to show up.

I haven't ordered anything from them for a long time now, for the same reason.

RC4WD is known for being slow.

I've only ordered one thing from them and it took about 3 weeks to get to me.

Well that's not what I want to hear, but at least I know I'm not alone. I emailed customer care, not that I think that will do me much good. I'll call them tomorrow if I don't hear anything. At this point it would be faster to cancel and order the parts from other retailers who stick to strict shipping/handling times on orders.

I use to buy parts from them and they always had really good shipping and customer service....that was twelve years ago now

That depends on where you live & what warehouse they are shipping from either in the US or overseas which they have been doing a lot lately. The last few things I've purchased from them especially newer items have shipped directly from overseas and took 3 weeks to a month. I have probably only ordered from them in the last year about five times and only one maybe two of those times were shipped from the US, But they were also older items probably sitting on a shelf somewhere

According to their label they are shipping from California. I'm in Oklahoma. That should be 2 days in transit via Priority Mail.


If they are getting items shipped to Cali from overseas then that's a BIG problem.

its varied for me, over the last 8 months or so I've gotten things in as fast as a week and some things in 3 weeks. For reference I'm in FL
Just depends on where it comes from and what it has to go through.
Service has been great for me, they have answered all my stupid questions and the couple times I had a bad part or was missing something they were quick to fix it
