Excelsior! Defender Project

Took it at the gorge the other day. It was a good opportunity to test the Trenchers on some demanding rocks. I think that if it had a bit more weight in the front axle, it could cope with most of the rocks.

They also perform better on the dirty terrain. Other tires I've tried in the same area, struggle to go up, but these Trenchers seem to have good grip on it.

I've been running this a lot lately, but for some reason never updated this thread.

I added some cool stuff I found along the way. Like this luggage net.

I cut it in order to fit behind Stan and seperate the truckbed from the cabin area

Stan seems happy with it 🤣

The main thing I changed was the tires. I got some JConcept Rupture replicas from Injora. Couldn't find the real ones in stock anywhere, so thought to give them a shot.

Got them for the Ronin initially, but I feel these suit this rig better than the Trenchers. Excellent grip on the rocks. The foam is a little bit smaller than needed to fill the tire, but this allows it to bite better, without hurting the side walls while standing still.

Been messing around a lot lately with old pal Stan... 😂
