Hey all,

I picked up a used Mamba X sensored ESC, but the battery (+/-) wires are a little short. Are these replaceable? Anyone ever get service from Castle or replace on their own?

Extend the wires from your battery by soldering a length of cable ?

I guess. Is this the correct approach? I kind of want new wires, but I'll do whatever makes sense.

I assume this is the standard X and not the micro X?

Ideally you'd unsolder the short wires and replace them with longer wire but since the Mamba X is potted (filled with epoxy) and there no access to the solder pads this isnt an option. You'll have to extend the wires by soldering in more wire. Or you could make a extension using bullet connectors.

Personally I've chosen the solder route.
