Fabbed a bumper for my xj

made of 1/4", and 3/16"steel. Also 2" square pipe, and 2" chromoly tube. Hand fabbed by me and my dad. Any ?'s just ask.

Looks great man! ESPECIALLY for a 15 year old.

Thanks a lot!! But i cant take all the credit. I drew it all out, cut it, grinded it, cleaned it up, and painted it. My dad welded it (I didnt learn how to yet), gave a lot of good pointers, and drank a lot of beer. But heck if i had to look at me all day i would do the same:shock:

Sorry, maybe "thin, weak, uniframe rails" would be better.

As long as you used more than just the stock 3 bumper holes it should be okay for recovery duties.

Yep, i used those and 2 more back in the unibody a little bit




O and i cut it with a plasma cutter...

Yup, I always give my buddies who run XJs a hard time about unibody. But in the right hands they're very capable, just don't tell my buddies I said so."thumbsup"
