Wanting to do lock outs on the rear axle and get cvds for the front for more steering anyone have part numbers that work with the Everest 10

you can pick up a set of sx-10 axles fairly cheap, either new or used. then you can use axial parts for all these upgrades
you want without having to worry about fitment.

just checked ebay, several sets for around 80.00 for both
rpphobby has them for 75.00 the set

you can then sell yours and get some money back

axial universals run about 36.00 other brands are cheaper but are cvd not universals

food for thought

Is it the ridge crest axles or the scx10 axles i want or are they the same

the ridgecrest has the ar-60 axles, the scx10 axles are what the Everest's axles are a copy of

you could use either, but the scx10 are the lookalikes so everything will fit the same like the links
and shocks and servo. the ar 60's also cost more.

Had fun trail riding and met a good rc enthusiast thead. Good convo and got to test out the new motor and c hubs. Got to test out the water proof electronics. Didn't have an issue playing around in a little stream. Definitely gonna get some different tires wasn't really impressed with the stock ones. Motor was great rc4wd 35t motor. For 12.99 at the hobby shop can't beat it. Axial was almost over 20.

Well got home last night after work. T ghat e old lady and kiddos were pold at there aunts so I took some time to do some tinkering on my everest. First I moved the front lower arms to the first hole to clock the front axle so it's not turning into the ground so much. ( still think it needs a little more) then I filled the nubs off the knuckle for more steering. Out come much better steering. Going to be getting some different springs this weekend see if I can lower it a little and get rid of some of the torque twist somemore. My first suspention adjustment helped but still there.

Got some more parts today. Axial heavy duty lockers and a variety of springs to test out. So far I have put the heavy purple springs in the rear alot stiffer then the stock springs. And put the white springs up front I think they might be a little softer then stock. Tried it out but still alot of torque twist gonna try using thicker shock oil. Any suggestions?
