Fat fender g6 rock bouncer

Well as the g6 approaches for this year I wanted to build something different and that stood out. I stole bits and pieces from different builds I have seen over the years and compiled them with my twist..and alot of cash to get what I want..lol
Basically I took the look of my favorite street rod (32 full fender ed ford) and put it on wraith width blackwells complete with vanquish ' s new wraith chubs and knuckles. Mating that to basically a super shafty stacked trans, mip's , gear head aluminum slots (what street rod doesn't look classy on slots? ) wrapped in RB II'S and axles attached thru titanium links. For power I'm going with the tried and true ' d tekin rx8 wired to a pro4hd 3300kv on either 3 or 4s then steering will be handled by the rod bending hitec 7980 tg. You should by yourself a bunch of axle gears for those blackwells and a shim kit . I blew a set up on 3s 35t hh in 2 weeks . Replaced them and shimmed it all up those lasted about 2 months before blowing up again . And replace all the screws in the axles if you pull them out you will see that most of the threads are rounded off and they back out easy with out lock tight. Just a few thoughts s8nce you will have pro4 power lol

I was considering buying extra's, and already have shim kits from all the axles I've built. "thumbsup" I mainly just plan on running this for the g6 and that's about it. ..wife let's me go wild whenever it comes around since I really don't get to play the rest of the year.:roll:

lol yes i had him build it for me, i get it in the mail tomorrow will be sarting a build thread tomorrow, we will have to get the two clasics together and do some roddin!

Yes, the right side is just wired in reverse and I machine a new center spool with a setscrew on both sides. And yes the idea is similar but I'm going to have running boards, tapered cab, big fat fenders, and a big raised front end. ."thumbsup"
Finally got my sandblaster hooked up after its been in storage for 7yrs..lol now to get my powder coating setup..:roll:

Sorry haven't updated it but between germany, the surgeries I was able to get it done at 3am on the morning of our g6"thumbsup"
