I believe torque twist comes from the driveshafts trying to turning the pinion, so the tranny won't matter. (Unless of course you do the tranny with outputs going different ways thing)

that thing is huge! I think it needs a nice set of narrowed Jumbo Kongs! :twisted:

You've got those batteries soooo high though, it'll have a really high COG because of that. Granted, its super wide, but the center of gravity is still too high. My rig is stable past sideways ;) (Batteries are below the top of the tires, along with everything else)
 
I think the COG is not really high , because the steel axles :)

Jumbo Kongs sounds good , but they are not available in Germany :(

I guess steel axles would help that, but I'd still consider dropping down those batteries some :)

i think i need to build a new tranny , its to fast , for that the motor must mount in standard position , and it needs new chassis plates

what is the setscrew for? i see it by itself in the middle of the diff housing. is it for lubricating or just checking the gears?

WOW, that is one impressive scratch built crawler. Superior fab work with the axle housings, tranny, everything! Fantastic work.
